As a counseling alternative, life coaching focuses on planning your next step and holding yourself accountable. It can be difficult to go at things on your own and having someone outside yourself to help encourage and hold you accountable along the way. Also, dealing with mental attacks (anxiety, depression, stress, etc.) can be draining and usually treated with drugs. You will learn techniques to deal and recognize these mental attacks beforehand. Both have clinical research to show that they are effective in the long-term treatment of mental blockages and attacks.
